KPEIK until 2030 with a perspective until 2040. In the MKiŚ version, it contains an ambitious (WAM) and “Business as Usal” (WEM) version. Pursuant to the declaration of climate minister Paulina Hennig-Kloski, the document through subsequent stages of government work, until its acceptance by the government and sending both scenarios to the European Commission will run the newly created Ministry of Energy.

The assumptions of the script presented on Monday show that the costs of generating electricity are to fall by 2030 by 11 percent. IO 31 percent By 2040, mainly due to cheap renewable energy technologies and a decrease in emissions by almost 54 percent, which is to translate into a lower burden of EU-EXS system costs.

Taking into account the full costs, including network and balance sheet, the price of electricity for end recipients in households is expected to drop by 6 %. until 2030, 18 percent until 2035, and 27 percent by 2040 compared to the average forecast price at 2025.

For the industry, these decreases are to be 9, 21 and 28 percent, respectively, and for the service sector: 7, 20 and 29 percent.

The ambitious scenario provides for doubling the production of energy from renewable energy to 2030 and almost 80 percent. Until 2040, according to it, by 2035, coal as a source of individual heating will disappear, and after 2040 there will be a slight coal, stone and brown contribution throughout the energy sector. The use of biomass is to increase slightly.

Fuel imports in you drop by 37 percent. By 2040 – it will be the most difficult to move away from oil import, we also assume a two -time decrease in gas import without breaking LNG import contacts – emphasized Deputy Minister Zielińska. The role of biomethane will grow in the gas fuel consumption sector. The scenario is provided for the peak of natural gas consumption for 2025-2030.

The expected investments in transformation until 2030 are at the level of PLN 1.1 trillion to 2030, the most in new manufacturing powers, networks and thermomodernization.

The average annually translates into PLN 216 billion in investments by 2030. OK. PLN 350 billion would come from European funds, including PLN 115 billion from KPO, 25 billion from Phoenix, as well as 55 billion from the modernization fund, powered by the sale of a certain pool of authorization for CO2 emissions. The Ministry of Climate Among the European Sources of Finance also mentioned PLN 89 billion from the ETS2 system and PLN 63 billion from the accompanying social climate fund.

Minister Hennig-Kloska stated that it is not a foregone conclusion, that the ECJ2, which is to cover the sectors of building and transport, would enter into force in the currently assumed form. If this happened, the funds from ETS2 and SFK will have to be modified, or they will have to be found elsewhere – the head of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage reserved.

In her opinion, work on KPEiK can be completed within a month. – I do not see the possibility of making strategic changes in the plan, because it means an additional four months of work. Small corrections are possible, but no more – she emphasized.

The National Plan for Energy and Climate is a document developed on the basis of Regulation (EU) of the European Parliament (EU) of 2018 indicates how the member country will develop, pursuing the EU climate goals. The Polish KPEiK contains two scenarios: base and increased ambitions. The European Commission has already called the Polish government twice to send an updated document, last March 12 this year (PAP)
