On September 1, in six Russian universities, training in higher education programs in the field of information technology and artificial intelligence, developed with the support of IT Holding T1, will start.

Programs are implemented at the expense of the federal grant and will become part of the national project for the preparation of IT specialists of the top-level. This initiative will reduce the deficiency of qualified IT cadres, which is indicated by more than 50 % of employers in Russia.

Students of the new educational programs of T1 and universities will receive expert skills in the field of machine learning, the development of intellectual systems, program engineering and system programming. The best students will be invited to interns in T1 and will be able to apply for personalized scholarships from the company. By 2030, more than 900 people will be graduates.

In the direction of “artificial intelligence” IT Holding T1 interacts with the financial university under the Government of the Russian Federation, the Novosibirsk State University (NSU) and the Ryazan State Radio Engineering University (RGRTU named after V.F. Utkin). In the field of “Information Technology”, new bachelor's programs will be launched at the Moscow Aviation Institute (MAI), the Nizhny Novgorod State University (NSU named after N. I. Lobachevsky) and the Ural Federal University (URFU).

The curricula of new educational programs are developed with the participation of T1, which will provide graduates with relevant knowledge and skills to work at the positions of the Middle+level. A special emphasis is in practical training. Already during their studies, students will be able to solve real business tasks, including using modern T1 tools-the “Sphere” development platform and the CAE system for numerical modeling of the “Engineering Analysis T1” calculations. Holding experts will act as teachers of specialized disciplines.

“We see our mission not only in creating innovative solutions, but also in the formation of a personnel reserve for the entire industry. For IT Holding T1, participation in the development of educational programs is a strategic step on the training of highly qualified personnel, without which it is impossible to implement large-scale digitalization projects. Our joint training programs with universities will help students get skills and competencies in demand from employers, including T1, ”said Ekaterina Kolesnikova, deputy general director of the T1 HR IT HR.

Training in new undergraduate programs in these universities starts on September 1, 2025, with the exception of NNS, where classes will begin on October 1.
