Zelnski goes on thin ice. “Putin will use it unscrupulous.” Ukrainian officer: Nobody will stand on the front

Although the president withdrew with cancer from the decision to weaken anti -corruption organs, there is still agitation and confusion in the country. The European Union has already decided to reduce financing for Ukraine, and according to a well -informed Ukrainian army officer – soldiers may soon be missing on the front.
Perspectives for Zelanski are not good – neither on a military, financial nor political level.
Zelanski's actions against anti -corruption bodies led to mass protests in Kiev. In view of this situation, on Friday, July 25, the EU took a drastic means that will significantly make Zelanski make his duties.
And the calculations of the officers of the Ukrainian army saw the light of day, which show that if Zelanski does not conjure up a huge number of new soldiers from the hat, no one will soon fight on the Ukrainian side of the front.
After mass protests in his country, Zelanski withdrew from the erroneous decision to subordinate the NAB anti -corruption agency and the Anti -Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP) appointed by his prosecutor general. The new bill, over which the parliament will vote on Thursday, July 31, is to restore the independence of both bodies.
However, protests against Zelanski's decision did not stop at all. There is a fear that Zelanski's subordinates may discontinue some corruption proceedings – for example, regarding bribery against his friend and former deputy prime minister Oleksy Czernyszow.
The division caused in the country of Zelanski's policy is not only burdensome for the president himself, but also dangerous to the whole nation.
“Russia is not able to defeat us militarily,” said Ukrainian journalist Jewhen Semechin for an interview with “Blick”. “But if they manage to divide us internally, Putin unscrupulously use it. This is his only chance to subordinate Ukraine.”
In order not to happen, Kiev remains largely dependent on the supply of weapons and funds from the West. However, there are problems on both fronts. The German magazine “Der Spiegel” reports that Ukraine needs Patriot's missile defense systems will not be delivered only in 2026.
“Zełanski's resignation would be another victory of Putin”
On Friday, the EU announced that due to the failure to reach agreed reform goals, another tranche of financial assistance for Ukraine will be reduced by EUR 1 billion (approx. 6 billion 400 million PLN, from 4 billion 500 million to EUR 3 billion, i.e. over PLN 19 billion to less than PLN 13 billion). One of the reasons is the last turmoil around the anti -corruption agencies.
Meanwhile, the situation of Ukraine on the war front is also becoming more and more difficult. On the one hand, according to South Korean special services, Pyongyang is to send up to 30,000 in August. new soldiers for the war of Vladimir Putin.

On the other hand, the Ukrainian army itself threatens to exhaust human resources – despite the recently undertaken funds, such as lowering the consultancy age or amnesty for convicts who voluntarily apply to military service.
Igor Łuczenko, a former parliamentarian, political advisor and Ukrainian officer, calculated that the army wants to recruit 30 thousand. New soldiers per month (which he is unable to achieve at present), while up to 8,000 die each month. soldiers, and the same amount is wounded.
Added to this are deserters and prisoners of war (it is not known exactly what numbers we are talking about in this case). In his Facebook post on Facebook, Lucento assumes that the Ukrainian army loses to 15,000 a month. soldiers. “If we continue this, in two years no one will stand on the front,” writes the officer.
Although the prospects for Zelanski are not optimistic, he will remain the president in the foreseeable future. The Ukrainian constitution prohibits the new elections during the war – not to mention the fact that in the country constantly bombarded rockets and occupied in about one fifth by enemy forces, it is impossible to order a normal vote.
Zelanski could give way. In this scenario, the President of Parliament Rusłan Stefanczuk, one of the main strategists of the Zelanski party, would temporarily take power. However, the president's resignation would be another partial victory of Putin, because it would certainly cause new anxieties in the country.
The former comedian who became the president during the war, so there is nothing else but to keep a serious face. After a barely survived “hell” week, this can be even more difficult.
