A series of photos with the Viaduct from Poiana Largului began to viralize on Monday on Facebook, after pieces of wood and waste remains filled the surface of the accumulation lake. The phenomenon came from the devastating floods in Neamț and Suceava counties.
In the images posted on the social network you can see how part of the surface of Lake Izvorul Muntelui (Bicaz) is covered by wood and waste that came on the Bistrița river, following the floods that hit the counties Neamț and Suceava on Sunday evening.
What the viaduct looked like before the floods:
The Viaduct from Poiana Larului is a component of the national road DN15 and connects the cities of Piatra Neamț and Borsec.
About 900 people were evacuated on Sunday night from Monday from three communes in Neamţ county affected by floods, the Emergency Department announced. The disaster is also in Suceava County, where three people have lost their lives, in the black town, near the city of Broșteni. In fact, Broșteni is one of the most affected localities in Suceava county, where five people were surprised by the flood, but were saved by the intervention teams.
