The governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Mikhail Kotyukov held an expanded operational meeting, a forest firewall in the region was discussed.
In the forest fire center, it was reported that from July 23, the emergency mode in the forests was canceled in the region. In advance mobilization of resources to combat fire in the northern regions, it allowed to quickly react to the passage of a powerful thunderstorm front in Evenkia.
The main foci of fires were recorded in remote inaccessible territories, forest special forces were delivered there by aviation. More than 500 professional airlines, including fighters of the federal reserve, involved in the extinguishing works.
According to the Ministry of Natural Resources of the region, compared with the same period last year, the area passed by fire in the region decreased by 34 %.
The head of the region instructed to pay close attention to the investigation of the causes of forest fires. In those cases where specific guilty are established, they are held accountable, including in terms of reimbursing the costs of extinguishing fires.
Recall that earlier the fire hazardous season in the Krasnoyarsk Territory was appreciated by the head of the Russian Emergencies Ministry, Alexander Kurenkov.
