Within the walls of the Legislative Assembly of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a photo exhibition was held dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the Norkel mining and metallurgical company.

Opening the meeting of the session, the speaker of the Legislative Assembly Alexei Dodatko congratulated the company's team on the anniversary. He recalled that in the spring of this year, Russian President Vladimir Putin awarded the Norilsk Nickel team the Order for Valiant Labor, and invited the deputies to get acquainted with the photo exhibition dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the company.

“Photographers presented the diversity and features of the life of polar cities, the beauty of the nature of the North,” he said.

A photo exhibition in the Legislative Assembly, one of the five presented these days in Krasnoyarsk. They are located on five locations of the regional capital – on the four embankments of the cities and in the Fanpark “Beaver Log”.

In honor of the anniversary in April 2025, Norkel organized a creative expedition of photographers and journalists of regional and federal media in Taimyr. The participants of the tour visited Norilsk, Dudinka, the Dudinski port and at Norilsk Nickel enterprises.

The result of the expedition was a photo exhibition that reveals Norilsk as the most important industrial center of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The exhibition demonstrates the scale and importance of the work of metallurgists and miners, and key processes of production of metals strategically important for the country are captured on the frames of professional photographers. At the same time, the photo exhibition shows Norilsk as a multifaceted developing city attractive to residents and tourists.

These works formed the basis of photo exhibitions. There is a suburban tundra, the city of Dudinka, Levine sands, the Angidrid mine, the Nadezhdinsky Metallurgical Plant, the Ayka sports complex and the types of Norilsk.

“In 2025, the Norickel mining and metallurgical company celebrates 90 years. This anniversary is not just a date. He personifies the historical path traveled from the first construction site of the Norilsk plant to the flagship of world non-ferrous metallurgy, ”said Sergey Tkachenko, vice president-director of the Krasnoyarsk representative office of Norilsk Nickel.

Recall that the main events dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Norilsk Nickel will be held in Norilsk and Krasnoyarsk from July 15 to 20.
