The Bank of Russia warns residents of the Krasnoyarsk Territory about the scheme of fraud using a single window.
First, a person comes to a person allegedly from a law enforcement officer. As a rule, a fraudster tells the victim about the detention of criminals who are trying to kidnap money from her bank accounts. After that, the person is switched to the “specialist” of the Bank of Russia, which creates the illusion of officiality.
““ The representative of the Central Bank ”, in turn, helps the victim to transfer the accumulation from personal accounts to a special“ secure ”account. If a person will follow the instructions of false employees, he will lose his money, ”the Central Bank of the Russian Federation explained.
According to the regional prosecutor’s office, almost 5 thousand people were injured from Internet and mobile fraud in the region for the first six months, and the total amount of damage caused- about 1.5 billion rubles.
Remember, the Bank of Russia does not work with individuals as with clients, does not keep their accounts and do not call them. Switching between different departments within the framework of one phone call is a sign of fraud.
Government employees never ask people to perform any cash cash transactions.
