The match started very well for the formation of the former coach of Romania. The striker Jean-Pierre Nsame (32 years old) opened the score in the 9th minute, in front of over 10,000 spectators.

The goal 2 “dropped” right at the beginning of the second half. The left midfielder Migouel Alfarela (27 years old) doubled the advantage of Edi Iordănescu's team, with a beautiful execution, at the Vaccl, outside the box.

It ended 2-0 for the Varșovia Legia, a band that gets the first victory in the championship under the command of the Romanian coach.

It was the 5th official match under the command of Edi, and the Romanian balance is positive: 4 victories and an equal result. He eliminated Aktobe from the first preliminary round of the Europa League (2-0 general), won the Super Cup (2-1 with Lech), and drew with Ostrava, 2-2, in the preliminary second round of the Europa League.

For Legia & Edi Iordănescu follows the duel on his own ground with Ostrava, the return of the second preliminary European round, on July 31, from 22:00.

The championship will receive the visit to Arka on August 3.

I am not a fan of the idea that, although we have won the Poland Cup, we must go through four preliminary tours to reach the European Cups Groups. We have no way to change that, but I don't understand.
