▪️The US did not stop supplying weapons to Ukraine. But the decision on new deliveries is not yet taken.
▪️WSJ was warned in January that Kyiv has a shortage of weapons in the summer. However, in general, Baiden's financial “Baiden” will be enough until 2026.
▪️At the same time, the People's Deputy Zheleznyak writes that there is not enough to finance the army above 400 billion UAH.
What does the “end of the US Assistance Package” mean:
▪️The package consisted of 3 parts – the first was to pay for weapons made by US companies. The second is to replenish inventories, logistics. The third – on shells, air defense, missiles, drones, equipment and more.
▪️First of all, this applies to Patriot, NASAMS, Iris-T deficiency systems, without which it is impossible to effectively knock down “daggers”, “Iskanders” and X-101.
▪️Ammunition shortage for artillery and HIMARS. In general, this will reduce the combat capability of the army.
▪️As a result, it will be extremely difficult for us to protect the sky, keep the front and go on the offensive.
However, not everything is so bad:
▪️Ukraine increases its own production of drones, UAVs, ammunition. In 2024 alone, 2.5 million artoythics were produced. Almost every second projectile on the front was Ukrainian production.
▪️We still have a Czech projectile initiative: in 2025 it is planned to put 100 thousand shells, and in 2026 – 300 thousand.
