A bear was surprised to try to cool down in the Bicaz dam area. The animal was filmed as it was in the accumulation lake. Experts say it is a natural behavior during the hot periods.
The images were captured by a tourist in the area, surprised to see the wild animal swimming in the accumulation of Bicaz.
The bear was forced to enter the water by the high temperatures of the last days, which jumped 30 degrees Celsius even in the mountain area.

The animal simply sought a method to cool down, according to specialists.
“It is a natural behavior during the heat. Animals are looking for cooler areas, and the water is obviously an ideal solution for thermoregulation”explained a representative of Romsilva, according to Antena 3 CNN.
Authorities recommend tourists and population in areas where wild animals are often seen not to approach them, even if they seem quiet, and not give them food, but to alert the authorities immediately.
A few years ago, a monitoring room located by Romsilva employees surprised, at Bălăcea, a male bear.
In 2019, a bear cub for only a few weeks was observed by a group of tourists, at the entrance to the Nature Reserve the Tişita Gorges at the confluence of the Tişiţa river with the Putna river. The animal was horrified on a log in the middle of the river. People immediately called the crew from the post of mountain gendarmes Lepşa.
