President Nicușor Dan went to Austria for a two -day visit, being accompanied by his life partner, Mirabela Grădinaru, and the two children of the couple, Aheea and Antim. It is the first external visit that the head of state makes with his family.
Nicușor Dan's tiktok account was published a video in which the formal moments of the visit are interspersed with the scenes in which the president's son enjoys his father's presence, he plays or looks curiously to what is happening around him.
Nicușor Dan's visit to Salzburg started on Friday, when he participated in the industrial summite and met with the president of Austria, Alexander Van der Bellen.
On Saturday, Nicușor Dan was officially received by the governor of Land Salzburg, Karoline Edtstadler, and took part in the opening festivity of the Salzbuger Festspiele 2025 festival.
Also on the agenda of today are the meeting with the federal Chancellor Christian Stocker, and the participation in the premiere of Giulio Cesare in Egitto, by George Frideric Handel.
“Austrian companies have an important presence in our economy, and this was not just development, it was also transfer of good practices, knowledge to our economy, and it took us to the point where we are today. In the last 10 years, commercial exchanges have increased by 60% and we are approaching 6 billion euros at this time, but there is a great potential,” Austrian president.
