The unemployment rate (the weight of the unemployed in the active population) at national level was 3.16% at the end of June 2025, lower than the previous month with 0.03 percentage points, ANOFM announced on Friday. The total number of unemployed at the end of June 2025 was 252,146 people, most of them between 40 and 49 (64,143). According to the level of education, 4.36% (almost 11,000) out of total unemployed have higher education.
According to ANOFM, out of the total of over 252,000 registered unemployed, 50,533 were undeniable and 2013 unemployed.
The number of unemployed unemployed decreased by 1,030 people, and the number of unemployed unemployed decreased by 1,418 people compared to the previous month.

On residence environments, the number of unemployed people at the end of June is presented as follows: 65,107 unemployed people come from the urban area and 187,039 unemployed people come from the rural area.
The number of unemployed women on June 30, 2025 was 117,416 people, while the number of unemployed men was 134,730.
Most unemployed were between 40-49 years (64,143), followed by those over 55 years old (61,179), at the opposite pole being people between 25 and 29 (14,158).
Regarding the structure of unemployment according to the level of education, the unemployed without studies and those with primary education level have a significant weight in the total unemployed registered in the ANOFM records (31.95%).
The unemployed with high school levels represent 34.56 % of the total registered unemployed, and those with 4.36 % university studies (no about 11,000 people).
