“The president is furious.” Donald Trump is frustrated with the scandal around Jeffrey Epstein

Trump and his closest allies thought that they would spend the summer of the victory after they persuaded Congress to accept the “great, beautiful law”. Instead, all the achievements of the White House were overshadowed by questions about Jeffrey Epstein – a sex offender (and a former friend of Trump), who was found dead in his prison cell almost six years ago. According to one of the theories, Epstein had a “list of clients” in a rich American elite, which he “supplied” (in human trafficking procedure) underage women so that they could be sexually abused.
“The president is clearly angry,” a person from the president of the president said in an interview with Politico who wanted to remain anonymous. “For the first time I see them to (Trump administration officials) so paralyzed.”
“Vulnerability”
A high -ranking White House official said in an interview with Politico that The president is frustrated by the inability of his employees to suppress conspiracy theories, which they once spread.
“He believes that there are much more important things that deserve attention,” he said.
The leading representatives of the Magic Right Movement (“Make America Great Again”, “Make America again”) from Steve Bannon to Laura Loomer, criticized Trump's administration for the way she dealt with the controversy. The Republican Congressmen Marjorie Taylor Green warned the president that “his base would turn away from him and there would be no return.”
Last week, “The Wall Street Journal” published an article in which he accuses Trump to send Epstein an indecent birthday card, in which there was a handwritten drawing of a naked woman made by the future president and a disturbing annotation. Trump denied that he sent this letter and filed a defamation lawsuit against the newspaper.
– frustration is partly due to the understanding that this is a “weak point” [Trumpa] – Another person from the president's surroundings said in an interview with Politico who wanted to maintain anonymity. Trump has been famous for over ten years that he is holding his finger on the pulse of the Republican election base, but now lost his ability to dominate the narrative.
