After audits in PGE Dystrybucja, an employment relationship with 29 directors and deputies was terminated – the company communicated. He lost his job, among others Chairman of Solidarity Edmund Myszka, who critically assesses changes in the company.
PGE Dystrybucja spokesman Ewa Wiatr informed PAP that from the beginning of 2024 16 audits were completed in the company, and another 17 is in progress.
– At the same time, the company is assessed by employees, including the management. As a result of the inspections, about 70 people occupying, among others Higher -level positions were negatively evaluated in terms of competences and fulfillment of the obligations entrusted to them – she said.
Some of the positions – the spokesman supplemented – was liquidated and recruitment processes were carried out for others. – Some employees were transferred to lower level positions corresponding to their professional competences. The employment relationship with 29 directors and deputies has been terminated – she added.
As she said, after analyzes it was also decided to liquidate some organizational units, including Department of Materials Management and Training Offices, Development and Consulting HR. Changes in the organizational structure The company motivates to adapt to “market needs and the scale of planned investments”.
– The unification of the organization will allow the implementation of the plan for 2024-2029. The strategy of the PGE capital group assumes the allocation of PLN 75 billion for the modernization and development of distribution networks. Achieving the assumed goals is possible thanks to strategic changes – the spokesman explained.
Chairman of the NSZZ “Solidarity” Inter -Enterprise Committee Rzeszów Zakład Energetyczny Edmund Myszka critically assesses the changes introduced by the PGE Dystrybucja Board. He told PAP that in the case of the Rzeszów branch of the company's positions, engineers with many years of experience were deprived of directors. – The employer did not terminate employment contracts with them, but changed their scope of duties and tasks. They remained in the company, but in positions not related to the energy industry – he said.
The chairman pointed out that PGE Dystrybucja is a public utility company and – in addition to business goals – its duty is to ensure continuity of electricity supply. In his opinion, the action of the management board could “shake the stability of the branch functioning.” In his opinion, all restructuring changes should be reported and agreed with the Social Dialogue Commission.
The mouse announced that on Monday he was dismissed from the work of the head of the High Voltage Department at PGE Dystrybucja. As a justification, the employer indicated “a serious violation of basic employee obligations by an employee.” In addition to him – added the chairman – three other trade unionists lost his work in the company. In his opinion, in this way the management board of the company “destroys trade union organizations, primarily Solidarity.”
The chairman informed that the unionists notified the Labor Inspectorate about the activities of the Management Board, the PGE SA board added that a strike ambulance was maintained in the Rzeszów branch of PGE Dystrybucja.
The company announced that on Monday it sent a notification to the Lublin prosecutor's office about the possibility of committing a crime and exposure of the company at nearly PLN 1.5 million of losses. The irregularities were to apply to the implementation of contracts in the scope of tree felling and cleaning the technological belt at high voltage lines at the Rzeszów branch.
– The audit results have shown that despite the contractor's failure to perform these services, employees confirmed their implementation, which resulted in the payment of undue remuneration. In relation to seven employees of the Rzeszów branch, staff consequences related to irregularities and non -compliance with entrusted obligations that could result in the company's financial losses – said the wind.
The mouse admitted that his dismissal is related to the notification to the prosecutor's office, which he learned from the media. – I cannot refer to the employer's allegations because they are based on the results of the audit, to which we did not have access. Let me remind you that the department I managed is responsible for the operation, among others 2250 km of high voltage line. There are also other departments in the company that prepare documents and settle work performed by external companies, such as felling trees – he said.
The wind reminded that the company had previously submitted notifications of the possibility of committing a crime in two cases: granting in an unjustified manner bonus and awards to PGE Dystrybucja headquarters in 2023 and undeniable conclusion of contracts for prohibiting competition after the termination of the employment relationship with the company's employees.
Agnieszka Kępka, spokesman for the District Prosecutor's Office in Lublin, confirmed PAP that the notification regarding irregularities related to the implementation of the contract for felling trees was received by the prosecutor's office. However, the proceedings regarding the granting of bonuses and prizes are pending. “We collect documentation, interrogate witnesses,” she added.
The financial statements of PGE Dystrybucja show that the company's sales revenues increased from PLN 10.5 billion in 2023 to PLN 11.2 billion in 2024 (increase by 6.7 percent). Net profit increased from 1.9 billion to PLN 2.2 billion (change by 17.8 percent).
At the end of last year The average number of employees per full -time employed in the company amounted to 9416 full -time jobs, against 9420 at the end of 2023.
PGE Dystrybucja is an electricity operator belonging to the largest domestic energy company PGE. The company is based in Lublin, but operates in the area of almost 130 thousand. sq m and provides energy to about 6 million customers in eastern and central Poland.
