Adobe Romania supports academic excellence: 14 promotion chiefs in July

Adobe Romania continues the tradition of recognizing, encouraging and awarding academic excellence, offering MacBook Pro promotion chiefs from three of the most important technical faculties in Bucharest: Faculty of Automation and Computers, Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics and Faculty of Cybernetics, Statistics and Economic Informatics.
“Academic performance is an indicator of passion, rigor, but also shows solid training for the following professional challenges. Through this initiative, we want to support the course of young people who choose excellence and who are preparing to have a real impact in the industry. Many of our colleagues started from the banks of these faculties, so this approach has for us and a personal value”Said Cris Radu, site leader Adobe Romania and Vice President Engineering.
Thus, 14 students of the 3 universities were rewarded for the academic results obtained at the end of the bachelor's degree. The prizes were offered during the official graduation ceremonies, in the presence of Adobe Romania representatives.
At the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics of the University of Bucharest, 6 promotion heads were awarded on July 5. The prizes were awarded by Daniel Miu, SR Engineering Manager, within Adobe Romania.

On July 9, at the Faculty of Automation and Computers of the Polytechnic University of Bucharest, 3 promotion heads received the Adobe awards, offered by Dragoș Georgiță, SR Director of Engineering, along with Ovidiu Eftimie, SR Director of Engineering.
The award series ended on July 17 at the Faculty of Cybernetics, Statistics and Economic Informatics of the Academy of Economic Studies, where five heads of promotion were awarded by Daniel Barbu, Computer Scientist at Adobe Romania.

An active partnership with the university environment
The initiative is part of the constant commitment of Adobe Romania to support the technical education and the academic community. Through such actions, the company aims not only to recognize the individual merits of the students, but also to strengthen the connection with the universities that make up the future professionals in the IT.
“Such gestures have a double value, on the one hand, students feel validated for their effort, on the other hand, the connection between the academic and industry becomes more concrete. It is important for graduates to see that there is real interest from companies for their professional courseL, ”adds Dragoș Georgiță, SR Director of Engineering, Adobe Experience Platform.
Over time, Adobe Romania has been constantly present in the local educational environment through mentoring sessions, trainings, sponsorship of some laboratories of the National University of Science and Technology Polytechnic Bucharest and participation in technical profile events. The award of promotion chiefs is part of this long -term approach, which combines the recognition of excellence with the active involvement in the formation of future generations of innovators.
