350 million rubles and 800 thousand dollars were given to fraudsters by the former assistant to the ex-governor Samara region
71-year-old Olga Serova gave one of the largest sums in Russia to telephone scammers, the local media “Notepad” reports.
The pensioner withdrew the money in the bank branch, and the employees did not notice anything suspicious.
It was possible to establish that a woman was deceived, only in the next bank, from which Serova also tried to remove her savings. There they convinced the elderly woman to stop communicating with attackers.
