A representative of the Lewiatan Confederation noted that the increase in the number of unemployed in June is “an extremely rare phenomenon.” “Historically, this situation happened only twice, in 2020 and now. However, this is not a signal to anxiety. For the employers mostly do not declare their willingness to reduce employment in the near future. The situation will be stable on the labor market” – he added.

“This statistical anomaly is influenced by the reform of the labor market, including labor offices. It allows you to register at the place of residence, not registration, as it was before. Secondly, farmers can register in the labor offices. These changes will also cause shuffling in regional unemployment” – said the analyst. (PAP)
