Oson Villa's connection with Aston Villa was evident throughout the last season. The artist's image was used in a huge choreography before the Aston Villa – Celtic match in the Champions League, played on Villa Park in January 2025.

Osbourne was depicted wearing a T -shirt with Aston Villa in the choreography displayed in the Holte End lawn before the match.

The club mentioned that the image with Ozzy “celebrates our roots, passion and tireless search for glory”, adding that the moment will “remain forever in the hearts of Villa supporters.”

Aston Villa launched Ozzy T -shirts limited with the image of choreography after the match.

Last October, Aston Villa launched a collaboration with Black Sabbath, who included a pair of limited edition football shoes and a Villa T -shirt specially designed in Osbourne's honor.

The manual design of the ball was inspired by the emblematic albums and live concerts of Black Sabbath, the color palette reflecting the characteristic style of the band.

“My favorite colors were always purple and black,” Osbourne had said at the time. “They are the colors Black Sabbath for over 50. Tony, Geezer, Bill and I consider this a great honor. Up the Villa!”

The shirt had inscribed “Black Sabbath” on the back, the design being presented when Aston Villa played against Crystal Palace in Carabao Cup last season.

Goalkeeper Aston Villa, Emiliano Martinez, wore the specially created boots during a Premier League match against Tottenham in November.

Martinez and Osbourne appeared in a Sketch to promote the Aston Villa shirt before season 2024-25.

In a statement, his family transmitted: “With deep sadness we announce the death of our beloved Ozzy Osbourne. He was with his family, surrounded by love. Please respect our intimacy in these difficult times. Sharon, Jack, Kelly, Aimee and Louis.”

The legendary rockstar had the opportunity to say goodbye to the fans on stage this month, on July 5, meeting with Black Sabbath with Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward for the first time in 2005.
