When developing the Moscow districts, specialists will now lay places for renovation. The program will become permanent, and the housing stock will find a regular update.
The metropolitan authorities realized the first wave of renovation by 100%. The new program was approved in 2017 and assumes that places for buildings will be planned already at the stage of development of the districts.
The renovation of the housing stock in Moscow affects more than 5k houses – these are 350k apartments in which about a million people live. For implementation, experts picked up 631 sites, the total meter – more than 10 million squares. Very soon, thousands of families will acquire a new nest.
