All options remain on the table if Israel does not respect its commitments to facilitate humanitarian aid in Gaza, the head of European diplomacy, Kaja Kallas said on Tuesday, notes Reuters.

“The killing of civilians seeking help in Gaza is unfinished,” Kaja Kallas wrote in a post on the X platform.

She added that she spoke to the Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar, “to remind our understanding of the flow of aid and we have clearly stressed that the Israeli army must cease killing people at distribution points.”

Earlier this month, Kaja Kallas said that Israel agreed to expand humanitarian access to Gaza, including by increasing the number of aid trucks, crossing points and routes to distribution centers.

“All options remain on the table if Israel does not respect its commitments,” the head of European diplomacy reiterated on Tuesday.

On Monday, twenty -four Western countries asked Israel to immediately cease the war in Gaza and criticized what they described as the “inhuman killing” of the Palestinians, saying that it is “frightening” that over 800 civilians were killed while trying to receive help.

The Israeli Foreign Ministry has qualified the statement of Monday as a “broken reality” and said that it sends a wrong signal to Hamas.

According to the health authorities in Gaza, over 59,000 Palestinians were killed in the 21 months of conflict.
