Medical psychologist of the Center for Public Health and Medical Public Health in Tomsk Natalya Ionova gave advice on how to talk with teenage children about sex. The specialist gave recommendations in an interview with RIA Tomsk.

Before talking on such a topic, parents are recommended to prepare. For a teenage girl, it will be more comfortable to communicate with mom, grandmother or sister, and not with dad. It is necessary to talk with the child from 12-14 years old, selecting information in accordance with the age. The girl can be offered to read the special literature independently and discuss after.

It is important to talk about personal boundaries: “No one should make you do something uncomfortable with your body, it is yours. You have the right to say no. ”
