Two SMURD helicopters intervene at a serious three -motorcycle accident on Transalpina. Two victims are in cardio-respiratory stop

A serious three-motorcycle accident blocked Transalpina on Sunday, two people being in cardio-respiratory stop. There are also two SMURD helicopters.

Transalpina traffic was blocked on Sunday after a serious road accident involving three motorcycles. The incident occurred on DN 67C, around 5:00 pm.
Two of the people involved in the accident have suffered serious injuries and are in cardio-respiratory stop.
“The intervention forces have reached the place of the accident. Two people involved in the accident are in cardio-respiratory stop, and a third person is conscious and cooperative,” the Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (ISU) Alba transmitted.
For the two victims in the cardio-respiratory stop, the intervention crews started the resuscitation maneuvers and requested the intervention of a SMURD helicopter to take over the victims.
In order to provide emergency medical care, SMURD crews were initially sent at the accident site, and a SMURD helicopter was alerted. Due to the severity of the situation, the intervention forces decided to supplement with another SMURD helicopter for the rapid transport of the victims.
Traffic blocked on DN 67C
The Alba County Police Inspectorate informed that traffic on DN 67C (Transalpina) was completely blocked due to the accident, the authorities praying drivers to avoid the area and use alternative routes until the road is unlock.
“The Sebeș Fire Detachment intervenes to ensure the specific measures and provide the first medical aid to a road accident on Transalpina. From the preliminary information, it would be about an accident between three motorcycles, possibly an unconscious person,” initially transmitted ISU Alba, quoted by News.ro.
