In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, 2 million coniferous seedlings were grown to restore forests

In mini-twells of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, 2 million seedlings of spruce and pine have grown to restore forests with an open and closed root system. This was told in the regional Ministry of Natural Resources and the Forest Complex.

Now experts are watering them, weeding weeds, and monitor the preservation of the necessary air temperature and humidity in mini-precasions. When young trees reach the required size, they will be moved to the hardening site, where they will adapt to natural conditions. Already in the fall, the grown up young trees will plant in the forests as part of the national project “Environmental well -being”.

The main volume of planting material for forest restoration – with an open root system – is grown in 32 forest nurseries.

“In 2025, we plan to get 35 million coniferous seedlings in nurseries and mini-plugs. This allows you to perform work on artificial forestry in the territories of the region, as well as provide other regions with planting material. The task annually maintain a balance between the disposal and reproduction of forests was set by the governor of the region Mikhail Kotyukov, ”said Alexei Bolshakov, First Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Forest Complex.

In total, in 2025, forests on an area of more than 157 thousand hectares will be restored in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

Recall that mini-twells for growing seedlings with ZKS are located in the territory of Minusinsky, Krasnoyarsk, Ilan, Emelyanovsky, Verkhnemansk and Usolsky forestry. This year, a similar complex was erected in Tinskic forestry, the installation of an object in Magansky forestry is completed.
