Another nine doctors were found guilty of disseminating anti -health views – the spokeswoman for the Wielkopolska Medical Chamber Maria Kaczorowska informed PAP on Saturday. Their cases were considered on Friday by the District Medical Court in Poznań.

The case applies to doctors who were to disseminate the views of the Covid -19 pandemic, thus acting – according to the Supreme Professional Ombudsman – to the detriment of patients. A total of over 100 doctors are responsible for such action, before professional courts in Poznań, Wrocław and Gdańsk.

The Poznań trial of 19 doctors began in March 2023. At that time, however, the court decided to refer the case to supplement by the Supreme Ombudsman. In turn, during the second meeting, in May this year, the case of nine doctors was separated for separate proceedings. At the June meeting, the District Medical Court of WIL found seven doctors guilty of and pursuant to art. 83 of the Act on Medical Chambers, he punished four of them with reprimands, and one accused was admonished. In two cases, the court decided to discontinue the penalty. The cases of the other three doctors were referred to separate proceedings.

On Saturday, Kaczorowska announced that on July 4 in Poznań, more cases were considered in front of the District Medical Court in which nine doctors were accused. OSL found all guilty.

“The District Medical Court, pursuant to Article 83 of the Act on Medical Chambers, imposed on the accused: four admonitions and four reprimands and redemption due to the case of less weight” – emphasized Kaczorowska.

The chief spokesperson for professional responsibility sent a request to punish over 100 doctors who, between October and December 2020, were to disseminate information “incompatible with current medical knowledge and promote anti -health attitudes”. It is about the signing of the “open letter of Polish doctors, scientists and healthcare workers to the Polish authorities and the media of October 5, 2020.” and two appeals of “scientists and doctors regarding vaccination at SARS-COV-2 coronavirus”. In an open letter, among others They undermined the sense of vaccination and the obligation to use protective masks.

Kaczorowska pointed out that in the case “there is a total of 114 medics. In Poznań, there will be one more case regarding three doctors.” She added that proceedings are also conducted by district medical courts in Gdańsk and Wrocław. “The District Medical Court of the Wielkopolska Medical Chamber was the first to issue decisions,” emphasized Kaczorowska.
