Alternative Route Recommended by Police officers after the six -cars accident on the Sun Highway

At least six cars were involved in a road accident on Sunday, on the A2 motorway, on the direction to Bucharest. Following the accident, the traffic was blocked, to allow the intervention of the crews, and the police recommended alternative routes.
The accident took place at kilometer 171, on the way to Bucharest, near the village of Cave, Constanța county.
The red intervention plan was triggered, and the road traffic was stopped on the direction to Bucharest to allow the SMURD helicopter to land.
“The traffic values are increasing in the direction of travel to the capital,” the Infotrafic Center, which also came with an alternative route recommendation.
“We recommend the drivers to opt for the Constanta – DN3 – Murfatlar – DN 22C – re -entering A2,” Info Traffic.
