Tenders for the construction of a terminal and roads


The announcements presented by the Company show that one of the key tenders will be the framework for the framework agreement for comprehensive construction works within the emerging port. Works related to the foundations of the new terminal, earthworks and construction of a railway tunnel are to start in the last quarter of 2025. The value of these contracts was estimated at an amount exceeding PLN 10 billion. Companies already involved in framework agreements with CPK, such as Mostostal, Mirbud, Polaqua and Budimex, can join the implementation. At the same time, other enterprises, including Kobylarnia, Polbud-Pomorze and Trakcja, will receive their chance in planned tenders for the design and implementation of access roads.

“Entities with Polish capital will also be represented in the implementation of roads around the airport,” the press release was announced. As part of the project, the construction and modernization of over 90 km of routes, including the “Baranów” node on the A2 motorway, is planned.
The Central Communication Port is one of the most ambitious infrastructure projects in Poland. The project involves the construction of a new central airport, which is to be built between Warsaw and Łódź, and the development of high -speed rail network. The initial operational capabilities of the new airport are provided for 34 million passengers a year, with the possibility of further expansion, adapted to changing market trends.
According to the schedule, construction works in the area of Baranów, Wiskitki and Teresin are to start in 2026. The planned time to implement the project includes several key dates: obtaining the required airport certification by 2031 and its opening in 2032 together with the inauguration of the first section of the High Speed Railway, which will connect Warsaw with CPK and Łódź. The total cost of the investment, which is to be implemented by 2032, is estimated at PLN 131.7 billion.
