In hospitals in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the principles of patient administration have changed

Governor Mikhail Kotyukov summed up the first results of the project to implement a system of quality management of medical care in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
The project involves 13 healthcare institutions of the territories of the region. The purpose of the work is to improve the activities of hospitals and the clinic to improve the quality of medical services – from the first reception in the registry to discharge from the hospital. The practical recommendations of the system were developed by Roszdravnadzor and are based on the modern principles of management, which are actively used in medical organizations of the country.
The chief physician of the clinic No. 5 Sergey Reznichenko informed the governor and colleagues from district hospitals about the experience of introducing a quality management system.
Mikhail Kotyukov talked with doctors who told how the principles of patient administration changed. So, already in the registry a clear division of flows into those who require emergency assistance is carried out, and those who came for a planned examination. The algorithm of the actions of doctors takes into account many nuances – the presence or absence of a medical card in a person, the procedure for managing equipment and the administration of drugs, a scheme for transferring other territories to hospitals and actions if the patient is necessary.
Standards have been developed for more efficient work in procedural cabinets, in the offices of emergency care and dispensary reception.
“At all stages of interaction with the medical staff, the patient needs a quality service. The medical team should clearly understand both their actions and the common goal. You cannot force a person to wait, even if algorithms allow you to stretch the reception for two hours. If a person wants to undergo a medical examination, then let him know that this will not take several days. It is necessary quickly, comfortable for questions to be asked correct. Therefore, when forming standards, it is necessary to communicate with people, ”said Mikhail Kotyukov.
The center for the introduction of a quality system has become a regional clinical hospital, the medical staff of which already successfully realizes the best practices.
The head physician of the medical institution Yegor Korchagin spoke about the main standards of the regional hospital. Doctors share with colleagues experience, conduct consultations and seminars, provide organizational and methodological assistance to all clinics and hospitals that participate in the project and aimed at improving the quality of the institution. Assessment of patient satisfaction is carried out using a selective telephone survey – all data are analyzed in detail.
Mikhail Kotyukov noted that at the next meeting with doctors, he is going to discuss the results of work on implementing a system of quality management system in specific medical institutions of the region. The head of the region intends to find out whether there are flaws somewhere and how to deal with them.
