A great fire in Ząbki. The Minister of Finance promises help


On Friday on TVN24 Minister of Finance Andrzej Domański was asked if financial assistance would be provided for those injured as a result of a fire.
“Of course, we will be in contact with the Ministry of Interior and Administration and with relevant services. As part of budgetary funds, help will certainly be delivered” – assured Domański. “There are always funds in Poland to help people affected by the tragedy” – he emphasized.
On Thursday, the Masovian Voivode Mariusz Frankowski said that “the fire affected more than two hundred premises, i.e. over five hundred people.” Unfortunately, these people will not return to the apartments quickly. There is a Poviat Building Supervision Inspector on the spot, which will assess the destruction of the building, “he said, adding that after completing the guard's actions, it will be possible to assess the damage.
The voivode also informed about possible material support. He said that the standard ad hoc help for victims in the fire is 8,000. zloty, Depending on the damage to the apartment, it will be possible to launch further financial resources. At the moment, a dozen or so people came to help. “If necessary, we will launch help at the government level,” he added.
All the circumstances of the fire in Ząbki will be thoroughly examined – said government spokesman Adam Szłapka on Thursday evening. At the same time, he appealed not to succumb to fake news and disinformation on fire.
