Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelenski on Thursday announced the signing of an agreement with the American Swift Beat company, in which both parties are expected to produce “hundreds of thousands” of this year, including unanswered interception devices, to reject the Russian air attacks, EFE and Reuters write.

The agreement was signed in Denmark, where President Volodimir Zelenski is on a visit to a delegation of Ukrainian officials on the occasion of taking over the EU rotary presidency from July 1, sources of the Presidency from Kiev, quoted by the Ukrainian agency Unian.

The Ukrainian Minister of Defense, Rustem Humorov, and the general manager of Swift Beat LLC, Eric Schmidt, signed a memorandum on a long -term strategic partnership in the presence of Zelenski.

In addition to unanswered airway appliances “for the destruction of enemy drones and rockets”, the project will produce mass and four -range attack drones and attack drones, Agerpres notes.

“Interceptors for the destruction of enemy drones and missiles, quadcopters for recognition and fire control, long-range attack drones-will be many more of them,” Zelenski said, in a message published on social networks.

“All this will help us reach our defense goals and protect the lives of the Ukrainians,” he said in the message.

During their last month's meeting at the annual NATO Summit in The Hague, Zelenski discussed with his American counterpart, Donald Trump, about the possibility of drone joint production between the two countries.

Donald Trump and Voldomir Zelenski are expected to discuss on a telephone call on Friday, about stopping the deliveries of some key weapons to Kiev, the Financial Times publication reported on Thursday.

But their conversation could be outdated, considering that both Russian President Vladimir Putin and the White House leader have previously announced that they will have a telephone call on Thursday.

If the United States did not give Ukraine the military support it needs, it would be a serious failure for Ukraine, the EU and NATO, Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen said on Thursday, according to Reuters, in the context of suspending the United States of certain key weapons for Kiev.

“If the US decides not to provide Ukraine what is needed, it would be a serious failure for Ukraine, Europe and NATO,” Frederiksen said in a common press conference with the head of the European Commission, Ursula von Der Leyen, on the occasion of Denmark of the EU Presidency.

“The war in Ukraine has never been just about Ukraine. This is a war on the future of Europe,” added the head of the Danish government.

The US announced on Tuesday the suspension of deliveries to certain types of key weapons for Ukraine, including Kiev's patriotic rockets to defend the Russian bombing that have been intensified lately. Washington's gesture was greeted by Moscow.

In this context, the French general in the reserve Michel Pierre Stuart Yakovleff, who previously held a high position in NATO's command structures, said that Trump “dreams of offering Putin's Ukraine, but cannot do this because of the resistance of Ukrainians themselves,” according to Unian.
