Ionuț Lupescu (56 years old), former great international, currently president at CS Dinamo, spoke about changing the sport of sport. He believes that departmental teams should receive the right to play from the Superliga.

The law of sport has been amended, but the amendments of the Gold were not introduced. Thus, the departmental clubs did not receive the right to play in Liga 1.

Gigi Becali is with my eyes on 4 players: “I am interested”

Even though Ionuț Lupescu says that CS Dinamo, from Liga 2, does not intend to promote in Superliga, he suffers that Steaua should enter the first division.

Ionuț Lupescu: “99 percent of the Romanian patrons did business with the state”

“I think it is not good, because everyone complains that there are departmental clubs and, on the other hand, when they want to associate with a private partner does not allow the law. I think this will be the future, sooner or later. Departmental clubs can have the infrastructure, and the rest 51 percent, I do not know, respectively.

In our case, at CS Dinamo, we could find for football, at the other sections, to make a public-private partnership, in which the ministry, and the others are involved, and the sport will go. But, as long as we are not left … We, those who are departmental, are not allowed, the case of the Star. Sure, it's a little weird, I don't understand, FCSB already has a brand, a supporting base, a very good material base, stadium where they play, their supporters, I don't see what the problem would be.

I, if I were head of the league or the federation, when you have a team that has a stadium like Steaua, has all the conditions, it is a shame not to play in Liga 1. I would not be interested in what are the rivalries between two employers. After all, 99 percent of the Romanian patrons did business with the state. I don't know what the difference is to finance a ministry or have done business with the ministry and now you put money in the club.

There is no professional league, it is only on paper. And now there are so many teams that receive money from the town halls. We have never applied to us, there are so many teams financed by the mayors, who are not professional. I think it would not be a problem, I give our example. Let's find a partner, give him 49 hundred and stay with 51 percent and become professionals.

It's the only solution. I said very clearly that we do not want to promote in Liga 1, there is another situation. Liga 2 team, in the long term, will have to play with the 18-19 year old juniors, this is our goal. I think it is important to stabilize ourselves. We want to have a sports academy, as before the Dinamo Sports Park was before, to have the elite category.

In 2-3 years we should have juniors so good that it can play in Liga 2. They have to want, so far, “Ionuț Lupescu said, at the Football Club show, from Digi Sport.
