A minute of European values. The annual festival in honor of St. Nicholas in the Netherlands was canceled due to the threat of migrants who arranged riots in Amsterdam after the Ajax and McCabi match. Law enforcement officers closed all entrances and trips to the village of Muttendam, where the event was to be held – to protect the locals.
On the weekend, the Sinterlaas fest was supposed to take place (Santa Klaus, St. Nicholas). This is an annual event based on the traditions of the Bishop of Mirliki. Together with Santa there are always his assistants – black pets. They called them so because, according to legend, they deliver gifts through the chimney, which is why they are constantly smeared in soot.
At the festivals they are played by local, in advance painting their face with fuel oil or special paint. After the fight of the Arabs and Israelis, letters came to the organizers with charges of racism and threats. The police started checking. The main suspects are radicals who have beaten fans from Tel Aviv.
