[P] From “tick” benefits to real support: the Romanian ecosystem that wants to change the rules in corporate wellbeing

C-Levels combines AI with psychologists, lawyers and concierges in a proactive ecosystem built on a simple premise: classic benefits no longer work.
The numbers are fresh and hard to ignore. The index of the well-being of Romanian employees (RoCoach & Novel Research, January 2026) shows that in 2025, one out of four urban employees was in an area of psychological risk and burnout. Only 30% reported a real state of job satisfaction. Overall score: 70.3 out of 100, an area researchers call “moderate but fragile security.”
Separately, an APSAP (2024) study of more than 2,000 employees showed that 40% of shift workers feel permanently exhausted, and women experience burnout almost twice as often as men (33% vs. 21%).
The traditional corporate response? EAPs that less than 5% of employees ever use. Or meal cards, fruit at the desk and a gym membership that no one activates. In this landscape, a Romanian startup wants to prove that well-being can be delivered differently.
What makes C-Levels different?
C-Levels brings together three services that professionals usually manage separately: psychological support, legal clarity and the logistics of everyday life. The engine is Monica AI, a 24/7 assistant that works as an intelligent filter: it takes the request in natural language, clarifies it, directs it. When the user needs execution, an Expert Ticket is opened: a psychologist registered in the COR, a lawyer member of the Bar or a hospitality concierge takes over and completes. Everything with confirmation and follow-up, not just generic recommendations left in the air.
The wellness area relies on a partnership with one of the important Mental Health providers in Europe, and the network already includes over 80 partners from Romania: restaurants, beauty and dental clinics, spas, hotels, gyms, with new partners in the process of integration. Partners are selected based on quality criteria and direct verification, not automatic aggregations.
The legal dimension: a rare pillar in wellbeing
At C-Levels, employees can get quick legal opinions, contract review and guidance on the Civil Code, jargon-free.
“Executives and entrepreneurs often lose money in legal areas they consider settled: disadvantageous terms in strategic business contracts, undue personal exposure on boards, insufficient confidentiality agreements, hidden clauses in investment deals. In many cases, a quick response from a corporate law attorney would have prevented significant financial or opportunity losses.”
– Av. Cosmin Gherghe, Managing Partner of SCA Gherghe & Associații
Why now and why in Romania
“The Romanian market is at a breaking point. Employees no longer accept generic benefits. Companies are losing people. And international solutions don't work here: they don't understand Romanian legislation, they don't have local networks, they don't offer support in Romanian from specialists licensed in Romania.”
– Cristian Constantin, Wellbeing Executive
The model is not invented from scratch. In the US and Western Europe, executive support ecosystems that combine wellbeing, legal support and concierge already work as a standard for companies that want to retain their key people. C-Levels adapts this model to the realities of the Romanian market: local legislation, specialists licensed in Romania, network of partners verified on the ground.
The real cost of inaction
According to C-Levels estimates, companies lose between €54,000 and €82,000 for every avoidable departure of an executive, if recruitment costs, onboarding, lost productivity and impact on the team are included. The platform provides an ROI calculator (c-levels.com/workforce-roi-calculator) through which companies can estimate in minutes the real cost of staff turnover and the potential savings of a structured wellness program.
What's next
C-Levels offers comprehensive executive wellbeing assessment for the first 10 companies joining the ecosystem this month. In parallel, the team is finalizing the “C-Levels Workplace Wellbeing Report RO 2026”, a unique analysis on the state of Romanian leadership, based on data collected directly from executives and middle managers in Romanian companies.
At a score of 70 out of 100, the comfort zone is just an illusion. Companies that don't invest in wellbeing now will pay later in departures and lost performance.
