The Minister of Health, Alexandru Rogobete, told Antena 3 on Saturday that the introduction of performance criteria will “hold the head of the section to be responsible for the activity that takes place in the section.”
He claimed the “isolated” situations in which doctors employed in the state health system leave during the work schedule to activate in the private system.
“There are certain situations, I have seen them publicly, I know them personally, they were also reported by patients, in which certain doctors, during the work schedule, for example, at 12 o'clock, are active in the private system, this is unacceptable, because in the end most patients are in the public system, and (…) I, as a minister, have a medical minister, On the other hand, to protect my medical colleagues and all the medical staff, who are unfairly affected by these isolated situations, but who have an important sound in the public space and affect the entire medical tag, ”said Alexandru Rogobete.
The measures announced
The Minister of Health has spoken about three measures he aims to implement.
