The linguistic ombudsman recalled that Danilko helps the Armed Forces and is under the sanctions of the Russian aggressor country, but “unfortunately, Russian-language songs remained in his repertoire.”
Kremen confirmed that the language of cultural, artistic and entertainment events is the state language, but explained that this situation does not apply to the performance or reproduction of songs.
“There were no violations during the reproduction of the songs by a citizen of Ukraine, because his actions are not prohibited by law.
