The region showed some of the best results in the Siberian Federal District, ahead of the Novosibirsk region (25th place) and the Tomsk region (26th place). Among neighboring regions, the worst indicators are shown by the Republic of Tyva (62nd place) and Altai Territory (73rd place).

The first lines of the rating are traditionally occupied by the northern regions. Thus, in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, 24.7% of workers receive a salary above 200 thousand rubles, and only 3.1% receive less than 45 thousand rubles, writes Sever-Press.

The study was based on data on net salaries at large and medium-sized enterprises for the period from September 2024 to August 2025. The ranking took into account three key parameters: the share of highly paid employees, the share of low-paid employees and the range of the most common salaries in the region.
