Orange code of vijelie in the capital and in Ilfov. A RO-Alert message was issued: “Avoid travel”
The authorities sent a RO-Alert message on Friday night to draw attention to an orange code warning type that the National Meteorological Administration (ANM) for Bucharest-Ilfov area issued. The warning is in force until 22:40.
“Meteo warning-orange code-vijelie with bursts of 70-90 km/h, torrential showers that will accumulate 25-40 l/sqm, frequent electric shocks, medium-sized hail.
ANM has announced an orange code of strong lime for Bucharest, on Friday night, until 10:40 pm.
“Strong whirlwind, wind speed at the burst of 70 … 90 km/h, medium -sized hail (2… 4 cm), torrential showers that will accumulate 25… 40 l/sqm, electric shocks,” writes in nowcasting warning.
