Mirel Rădoi, Craiova University coach, believes that Alexandru Mitriță would not accept to play for FCSB.
Gigi Becali, the owner of the leader from Superliga, announced that he wants to transfer the most important footballers in the championship, and among them are Mitriță.

However, Rădoi does not want to give up the star of the Bănie group and he thinks he would not like to go to another team in Romania.
“Mitriță is in the true sense of the word Oltean Get-Beget. His experiences at Craiova University are like a head of gallery, as a leader, but not as a player.
Going further, judging the situations that the players must be professionals, I could not give my opinion about the future he can choose.
As I know him, I would say that there is no other team in Romania apart from Craiova University for Mitriță. From what I know, in the past years I think it was an offer, not official, at the level of discussion between the owners in which Gigi Becali offered 2, 3 million euros for Mitriță, but the owner Mihai Rotaru refused ”, explained Rădoi, quoted by digisport.ro.
Quoted by transfermarkt.com at 4 million euros, Mitriță played this season in 38 matches for Craiova University, scored 18 goals and delivered 7 decisive passes.
