Major progress on the site of an important lot in the Moldovan Highway. Hopes that could be completed in 2025
The asphalting of Lot 2 of the section Focșani – Bacău, Domnești Târg – Răcăciuni from the A7 motorway, which covers 38.78km, began. The section could be completed by the end of 2025, as provided by the initial calendar.

On the ground, the advance is visible, especially at the passage from Domnești-Târg, which crosses the CF500 and DN2 railway. The structure, with a length of about one kilometer, entered an advanced phase of execution. At the same time, there are noticeable progress in the passage over the Trotus river, where, despite the recent floods, the works were resumed quickly, writes Ziarul de Bacău.
“Just a few weeks ago, the whole area was affected by floods, but now almost all metal beams are already mounted. When I filmed two days ago, the last two beams were under welding. It is very likely that the full assembly has been completed.”said an infrastructure enthusiast that closely follows the evolution of the A7 sites.
Near the town of Burcioaia, in the wooded area, intense works of asphalting were carried out. Two finishes acted simultaneously, which denotes exemplary mobilization from the entrepreneur.

On Friday, June 27, the Minister of Transport, Ciprian Șerban, visited the site of lot 2 (Mizil -Pietroasele) of the Ploiești -Buzău highway, section of A7.
“I appreciate the fact that I found the teams of workers in full activity, despite the outside heat.
I asked for maximum efficiency, so that, by the end of next month, the traffic can be opened on this lot (28.35 km).
The most stringent problem is at the bridge from KM 38+309 to which the application of some eclages must be completed.
I consider the Moldova highway an extremely important project, including from the perspective of financing its construction through the PNR ”, the minister transmitted on Facebook.
