“The last skills are underway before the Standing Committee of the Council of Ministers. We want the project to be on the Committee by mid -July. There is still a detail of some issues at the level of the legal department,” the deputy minister told journalists.
“Inter -ministerial arrangements lasted so long that there should be no large stones blocking the act on the RM permanent committee,” he added.
When asked about the amendment to the so -called windmill act, indicated that the government is prepared for various options in the event of a presidential veto.

Freezing energy prices in the windmill act
On Wednesday, the Sejm adopted an amendment to the so -called windmill law, which, among others reduces the minimum distance of wind turbines and buildings up to 500 m. The act also includes provisions on freezing energy prices for households until the end of the year on 500 PLN net for MWh. Currently, freezing is valid until the end of September.
Now the amendment to the Act on investments in the field of wind farms and some other acts will go to the Senate.
President Andrzej Duda, asked on Wednesday in The Hague whether he would be open to the signing of the amendment to the windmill act, in which there would be an amendment on freezing energy prices in 2025. He indicated that this is an attempt to force him to sign up for this law.
