A new fact of receiving a bribe of the ex-head of the traffic police in the Krasnoyarsk Territory was revealed

Investigators revealed another episode of unlawful activities of the former head of the State traffic inspectorate of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Andrei Sirotinin.
It was established that in the period from March to May 2024, the accused gave an illegal indication to his subordinates to provide a guaranteed test for a resident of the regional center for the right to drive a vehicle. As a result, the Krasnoyarsk was illegally received a driver’s license.
“For the illegal service, the head of the traffic police of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Krasnoyarsk Territory received from the 64-year-old director of the Spas LLC Ishkhan Arutyunyan a bribe in the form of repair work in the apartment,” the regional investigative committee said.
The bribe taker was detained, against the man a criminal case under paragraph “b” of part 4 of Art. 291 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (giving bribes to an official on a large scale). Now he is in custody.
Recall that the traffic police (now – the traffic police) Andrei Sirotinin headed from August 2022 to November 2024. At the end of autumn, it became known that he was leaving his post in connection with his retirement, and in January 2025 he was detained.
The former head of the traffic police of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Krasnoyarsk Territory was charged with excess of official powers and receiving a bribe of 925 thousand rubles. Later, new episodes were revealed in his business. Now Andrei Sirotinin is in custody.
