Iran announces victory over the USA. Chamenei congratulated his compatriots

Ayatollah Ali Chamenei, the highest spiritual -political leader of Iran, posted an entry on Thursday on Thursday, in which he congratulated the countrymen “victory over the US” and assured that the United States “did not achieve anything in this war” – said Reuters.

Chamenei said that Iranian fire “almost threw Israel on his knees.”

“Congratulations to the great Iranian nation of the task of a false Zionist regime,” wrote Chamenei, according to the abbreviation of his message, posted on social media and cited by the Iran International portal. “Despite all the noise and (various) statements, the regime (Israeli) was almost crushed with the strokes of the Islamic Republic,” Ajatollah emphasized, adding that the Iranian army “broke the multi -layer defense of Israel, attacking his city and base.”

“Another congratulations are due to the victory of our dear Iran over the US regime,” said the leader. In his opinion, the US joined the war because they decided that if they did not do it, “Israel would be completely destroyed”. “However, the United States did not obtain anything in this war. Also in this case the republic won and aimed the sharp cheek of America,” said Chamenei.

Ayatollah argued that the American attack on Iranian nuclear installations was unsuccessful, and US President Donald Trump hit Iran because “wanted to show himself.” He noticed that in one of the speeches Trump stated that Iran had to give up. “(Therefore) the US will only be satisfied with the surrender of Iran, which, however, will never happen,” said Chamenei.

The Iranian leader wrote that Tehran's ability to threaten the main American bases in the Middle East is a significant achievement that “can be repeated”. Each “future aggression (at Iran) will have a high price,” said Ajatollah.

He also praised the attitude of society during the conflict. “Ninety million people stood side by side, without divisions or a difference in support,” he wrote, adding that this solidarity attitude will continue in the future.

It was the first public statement of Chamenei from the advertisement on Tuesday by the USA suspension of weapons between Iran and Israel. These countries attacked each other for almost two weeks using missile missiles and drones. (PAP)
