President sharply on a shot in the windmill act. “The landscape matters more for me”

On Wednesday, the president was asked at a conference in Hague about whether he would be open to signing the amendment to the windmill act, which would be amended on further freezing energy prices in 2025.

On Wednesday, the submission of such an amendment to the draft windmill act was announced by the Minister of the Climate and the Environment Paulina Hennig-Kolska at the Government spokesman Adam Szłapka of the Conference. In the afternoon, during the second reading of the draft novella in the Sejm, a correction was made to freeze electricity prices for households for the fourth quarter of this year.

– I understand that, unfortunately, the prime minister and his colleagues, by throwing such an amendment that is to protect Poles against increases in energy prices, simply tries to force me to sign on this act [na ustawie wiatrakowej]putting me against the wall, but he must remember that I am already finishing my second term – said Andrzej Duda.
