US President Donald Trump reached the last one at the Huis Bosch Palace by King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands on Tuesday evening and on the NATO Summit in the NATO.

The arrival of the heads of state and government at the Hague Palace started around 7:00 pm (20:00 Romanian time), but Trump arrived at Dineu for more and a half hours later, about 20:40, after landing in The Hague an hour earlier, writes Agerpres.

At one point, while President Trump's arrival was expected, the red carpet held at the Huis Ten Bosch Palace for the guests came.

Several people were quickly mobilized to stretch the carpet again, but it passed good minutes until the White House leader finally arrived.

Like many other heads of state and government, the White House leader was not accompanied by his wife to the event, who did not travel to the Netherlands.

Among the NATO leaders accompanied by partners were Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and French President Emmanuel Macron.

The head of the Danish government Mette Fredericksen, who drew attention with black leather pants, also came to Dineu with her husband.

The president of Ukraine, Volodimir Zelenski, participated in Dineu.

King Willem-Alexander and NATO Secretary General, Mark Rutte, held short speeches before the guests lift the glasses for the future of the Alliance.

“It is impressive that we, as NATO countries, could form a shield behind which peace and democracy can bloom,” said the King of the Netherlands.

Mark Rutte said that NATO allies will make “a great decision that will enter history as a transformers”, referring to the commitment to increase the defense expenses at 5% of GDP in the horizon of 2025, and thanked the American leader Donald Trump that he has pushed this step from behind.

When did Nicușor Dan arrive

The President of Romania, Nicușor Dan, arrived at Dineu around 7:30 pm.

Previously, the President of Romania had a meeting with two American Democrats senators from a larger delegation of the US Congressmen who came to the NATO summit.

The meeting with the American senators started around 5:15 pm and about an hour.

The meeting was attended by the Democratic senators Jeanne Shaheen, co -president of the US Senate group of NATO, and Chris Coons, a member of the same group.

Jeanne Shaheen is also a member of the Senate External Relations Commission, while Chris Coons is a member of the Defense Assignments.
