While the governors talk about reducing the waste, a City Hall in Constanța gives hundreds of thousands of euros on seven days of concerts. Among the invited artists, Dani Mocanu and Vali Vijelie

Cernavoda City Hall, led by the Liberal Liviu Negoiță, launched a public procurement of 400,000 euros to organize the days of the city 2025, between 11 and 17 August, and intends to bring 25 soloists and troops for the seven days of events. According to the specifications, quoted by the South-East Info publication, the institution plans to bring Dani Mocanu and Vali Vijelie on stage.
Among the names mentioned by the town hall in the specifications are Connect-R, Mandinga, Smiley, Holograf and Ruby. If the artists on the first list are unavailable, there is a list of reserves: Inna, Theo Rose, Andra, Georgiana Lobonț, Leo de la Roșiori, Dirty Nano, Dany, Bug Mafia, Horia Brenciu, Nicolae Guță, Costel Biju, Sandu Ciorbă.
According to the specifications, through the purchase of 400,000 euros, Cernavoda City Hall wants “to ensure the good organization of the events from 11-17 August 2025, planned for exceptional shows, offered by professional artists, high caliber and national and international renowned, who will perform on a professional stage”. The institution also wants a “scene provided with the highest quality technical equipment”.
In addition, the contract provides for the organization of a fireworks on August 16, 2025, at 00:00, with a duration of at least 10 minutes. This is a show with lasers games, a 3D graphic animation with elements in the history of Dobrogea designed on a giant screen located on stage.
In the same contract will be included the promotion of the event through a video spot, but also an After Movie, after the event. The provider will be exempted from the taxes related to the occupation of the public domain and the expenses on public utilities, the specification of the Cernavoda City Hall shows.
The acquisition launched by Cernavoda City Hall comes at a time when governors talk about the need to reduce the state's expenses as part of the measures to reduce the budget deficit. The office led by Ilie Bolojan was invested on Monday.
