The Pole will finally fly into space? There is a new planned start date


Departure of the Falcon 9 rocket together with the Dragon capsule, which will take astronauts to ISS is currently planned for 2.31 at night of local time. The start will take place from the 39A start complex at the NASA Kennedy Space Center space port on Cape Canaveral in Florida. Astronauts are to reach the ISS at about 13 Polish time on Thursday.

Wednesday's date is another start plan for the long -awaited mission after it has been postponed many times. The reason for putting off the flight in the last almost two weeks was a leakage in the Russian ZWIZDA service module on ISS. NASA reported that after repairing falling pressure in the station stabilized, but in recent days she conducted further analyzes.

The mission to set off from the NASA Kennedy Space Center center in Florida is the fourth commercial flight at Axiom Space ISS. Astronauts-former Astronaut NASA Peggy Whitson (commander), pilot Shubhanshu Shukla from India and specialists scientists Sławosz Uznański-Wiśniewski and Tibor of Kapu from Hungary-will spend up to 14 days to ISS, performing about 60 scientific experiments, including 13 prepared by Polish scientists. The station will fly on board the Crew Dragon capsule – the last created by SpaceX – for which it will be the first flight into space.

Uznański-Wiśniewski will be the first Polish astronaut at an international space station.
