The only dream of Ianis, the 17 -year -old hero who saved a young woman in Costinesti, is to leave the country

On June 10, Ianis came to Costinesti, to engage. He was on the beach when he heard shouts for help. A 21-year-old girl would have drowned if the young man did not throw himself into the agitated waters of the sea to save him.

“He did not move at all. She was floating, she was no longer aware of anything, she did not breathe. When I took her on the shore, the rescuers were already running to her, I remember. She was breathing until they had breathing her mouth. Marian Buruiană remembers.

Immediately after this incident, Ianis was named hero, but he is only a modest child, raised by grandparents, who has been working since 14. His only dream is to leave Romania and become a scheme, writes Freedom.

According to the quoted source, Ianis grew up without a father, and the mother is married in Hunedoara. Three of Ianis's brothers, the youngest, live with my mother. “She settled there, but we keep in touch with her. We talk on the phone, she comes to us. My grandmother was my father, he raised me. But the grandfather died three years ago ”says Ianis.

Ianis and the other five brothers remained in Mangalia, in the care of his grandmother. They all live in the block, in a 3-room apartment.

He left by school and went to engage on the beaches of Mangalia, as a waiter's aid. He is satisfied that he manages to earn his own money.

“I know that I win, I can help and I don't depend on anyone. I want something, I take myself. A pair of sneakers, a shirt, I take my money tight, I do not call:” Mom, father, give me “and so on, like others.Ianis said.

His dream is to leave Romania and become a scheme.

“The scaffolding are the ones who raise the scaffolding, for ship construction, for more things. It is good, but you have to be old. I, at the beginning, I think I would earn 17-18 euros per hour,” Ianis hopes.

From his brother and from the boys in the neighborhood who were Schelari in Belgium he knows that “it will be hard far”. “Here, in Costinesti, I have the assured accommodation, but if I want, I go home tonight, nobody stops me”, says the young man.

However, his dream is to work in Belgium and “To see myself with a permit, by car and after that, my house ”.

For his heroic gesture, Ianis was awarded by the owner of the terrace with 2,000 lei.

“They congratulated me a few, but I don't care, honestly. After all, I think anyone would have done the same as minE, ”says the young man.
