We should get used to the fact that the burden of supporting Ukraine rests in the European Union; US President Donald Trump does not consider this as a priority – the Minister of Foreign Affairs Radosław Sikorski emphasized on Monday in Brussels.

The head of EU diplomacy Kaja Kallas said that the EU is still considering lowering the price for Russian oil, although the US is not interested in it.
Kallas announced that the proposal to reduce the price for a barrel of Russian oil from 60 to $ 45 remains the subject of negotiations. The $ 60 limit was determined in December 2022 by the G7 Group countries; It belongs to the US and the EU.
The European Commission, which Kallas is deputy head, proposed a price reduction, but the United States did not express interest.
Kallas admitted that “due to the fact that there was no clear fine at the top of the G7 countries last week, some Member States also have doubts as to the ceiling of oil prices.”
“The war in the Middle East has an impact on the price of crude oil, it also caused concerns about the threat to the Strait of Ormuz and everything around,” Kallas said. “But at the same time, because we know that the price of oil is growing, it would not be good if Russia actually used in the Middle East war and financed its war in Ukraine,” she emphasized, reporting on Monday meeting of foreign ministers in Brussels.
“Generally, in Ukrainian matters, we should get used to the fact that it is the main burden of supporting Ukraine.
“Yes, we as the European Union (for this we are responsible – PAP), because it was in our neighborhood that Putin invaded the candidate for the European Union” – noted Sikorski.
