Several flights from Otopeni Airport have been canceled due to the closure of the Middle East air.

Four flights from the “Henri Coandă” International Airport were canceled on Tuesday, June 24, following the closure of the Middle East.

The announcement was made by the spokesman of the National Airports Company Bucharest (CNAB), Theodor Postelnicu.
These are flights: Qatar Airways 219 Doha – Bucharest and 220 Bucharest – Doha, Wizz Air 3267 Bucharest – Dubai and 3268 Dubai – Bucharest, according to Agerpres.
The measure was taken after several countries closed their aerial space immediately after the Iranian attack on the US Qatar base.
Temporary suspension of traffic in the air space of Qatar
On Monday, the Qatar, where the largest American military base in the Middle East is found, has announced that it suspends its air traffic, after Tehran has threatened to respond to the United States bombings on Iranian nuclear installations, AFP reports.
“The competent authorities announce the temporary suspension of traffic in the country's airspace, within a set of precautions taken based on the evolutions in the region”shows a statement from the Doha Foreign Ministry.
And the United Arab Emirates closed their air space
The United Arab Emirates, in turn, closed the air space based on the information on the flight trajectory and control of the air traffic, according to Flightradar.
