Four Romanians in qualifications at Wimbledon, the first, Patricia Ţig and Ana Bogdan have already surpassed tour 1

Patricia Ţig (30 years old, 215th WTA) imposed with 4-6, 7-6 (4), 6-4 in front of Canadian Kayla Cross (20 years old, world number 229) and advanced in the 2nd England Club qualifications. Miriam Bulgaru (204 WTA) and Mihaela Buzărnescu (protected ranking) are the other Romanian players from the Wimbledon preliminaries.
