Deputy Prime Minister about the evacuation of Poles from Israel. “It was an extremely difficult operation”

On Sunday, late in the evening, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the end of the evacuation of Polish citizens from the Middle East. In total, about 300 Poles from Israel and Iran returned to the country as part of the campaign.
– It was probably the most efficient action in Europe. There are countries that start evacuating today, i.e. when Poland has finished it-the head of the Ministry of National Defense Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz pointed out at a press conference before the NATO summit.
The deputy prime minister emphasized that “it was an extremely difficult diplomatic, logistics and military operation.” – Actions had to be coordinated in these three areas – added the Minister of National Defense.
Foreign Minister: We urge you not to try to go to Israel now
During the Sunday press conference, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesman Paweł Wroński reminded that the evacuations from Israel were planned for those who stayed in this country briefly and incidentally. He explained that these are Tourist reasons.
– There were also cases that someone went there to take care of someone. Or also for those who got stuck in Israel because they intended to fly to another country. These people are in a difficult situation because they have nowhere to go – he said.
A spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs also repeated an appeal not to try to go to Israel. – I regret to say that a few people, unfortunately from the journalistic environment, began to ask me how the easiest way to get to Israel now – said Wroński.
